City Campus
The accommodation is near to our City Campus. Located in the heart of Nottingham, it gives you the best of both worlds: a comfortable living space on or near campus, and a lively city centre. You’ll love living and studying in an area that’s tailor-made for students. Travel links include frequent bus and tram routes, with the city’s main bus and train stations close by. Students studying at Clifton, Brackenhurst or the Mansfield Hub can also choose to live in city-based halls. See which campus your subject is taught at to help choose your new home.

As a student living in meridian court, I am thrilled to say that I live here. My room is an enhanced large room, which is the biggest size, and only costs £6,350 for the academic university year! This is more than £1000-£2000 cheaper than a lot of the accommodations right in the city center. Meridian court has two bus routes (yellow and brown) that lie on either side, so it's very easy to get to Nottingham city center and only takes 10mins or so on the bus. In addition, you get a free NCT bus pass for the year living at meridian court, which would typically cost you £299. Not only are you not far away from the city centre and have 2 bus routes you can take, but you even get a free bus pass living here! Also, there is ample space in the enhanced large room, which I am living in, much more space than in the rooms in the city centre accommodations, which are rather small and a lot more expensive. Each block is shared by 10 students, and the communal kitchen is more than big enough for us
The Location to the City Centre is very close from the residence. The accommodation has a lot of facilities for entertainment and fun activities. The living space is very good with furnished equipment and comfortable space. The kitchen has lot of appliances for cooking services. The Bathrooms are so well cleaned and maintained. The price for the the Buck is very good. I will recommend this facility to anyone available for students.
Meridian court is lovely and quiet most of the time, and the staff are lovely, but the kitchens aren’t really a place we can all socialise and my flats just a bit too quiet. overall it’s a lovely space and good value for money, but just the wrong place for me.
Merdian Court is a very low-cost accommodation, I think one of the most inexpensive accommodations that NTU gives an option for. The facilities and amenities make the money well spent as you have the options to have a standard to large room for a lot of space and as a Design student the space is beneficial. There are 3 spacious showers and two toilets for 10 people and I have never had a problem with this. The kitchen has a cupboard for each occupant and 1 fridge and freezer. Overall the amenities are worth it. You get 24 hour staff and security, parking space and free bus pass to travel which is helpful as the accommodation is a 40 minute walk from the University. Sometimes the distance can be a pain as you have to walk uphill for the bus. there is a common room that has regular events and sometimes gives out free food.
