Our aim for all NTU students is that when you meet employers, you’ll have more than just a qualification – you’ll have relevant, hands-on experience and much-desired employability skills.

From day one at NTU, you will have contact with specialist employability experts, with further access to workshops, events, and our online employability portal designed to help you find out our job opportunities and develop your skillset.

Dedicated one-to-one support

Give us a goal and we’ll support your future. Our Employability Team offer one-to-one discussions and tailored support. Career professionals are available for drop-in or pre-booked sessions, online or in-person at City, Clifton and Brackenhurst campuses.

In addition, specialist Careers Coaches are based in each Academic School. We also have dedicated Postgraduate Coordinators for students in Nottingham Business School and the School of Science and Technology.

On-demand career guidance via MyEmployability

We have an extensive selection of self-service 24/7 online support through MyEmployability which current students can access using their NTU log-in credentials.

MyEmployability provides access to graduate opportunities and vacancies from companies looking to recruit NTU graduates. It features on-demand guidance and assistance for writing your CV, interview preparation, assessment centre practice, and e-learning courses to improve your workplace skillset.

Support for three years after graduation

You’ll have access to employability support for up to three years after you graduate (and forever online). This includes career advice and coaching, graduate job alerts, and access to events and initiatives.
