Nottingham Trent Students' Union (NTSU)
When joining NTU, you will automatically become part of NTSU where you'll have opportunities to attend networking events and join societies or sport clubs. You'll also get your own PG Officer to support you throughout your university experience and to run events that can benefit you as a postgraduate student.
Societies
From Bollywood to gaming, and everything in between, there’s over 100 NTSU societies for you to meet other like-minded students. If you can't find the perfect society for you, you can even start your own.
Sports
There’s a variety of sports, fitness and activities you can join here. Find your gym buddies, teammates and fellow fitness enthusiasts by joining a sports club. From our gyms to sports teams and excellent campus facilities such as climbing walls and dance studios, there's something for everyone.
NTU Global Lounge
Our NTU Global Lounges are a great place to relax between lectures, learn about other cultures, and make new friends from all over the world.
Our events
Postgraduate drop-in sessions
We run weekly sessions to collect feedback about living in Nottingham and studying at NTU, and to provide general help for mental health and wellbeing. These drop-in sessions are a great opportunity to talk to your executive officer and find out about events we are working on for our postgraduates.
Postgraduate meet-and-greets
We host regular exclusive meet-and-greets for our postgrads to come and make new friends. This is a great chance to meet new people, network with other researchers and generally engage with your Students’ Union.
