Fairtrade Fortnight: 27 February–12 March
Published: 24/02/2023
Fairtrade Fortnight is back from Monday 27 February–Sunday 12 March!
Promoted by the Fairtrade Foundation, the theme this year focuses on food security and how foods such as coffee, bananas and chocolate are becoming harder to grow as a result of climate change and unfair trade.
Choosing Fairtrade helps support the producers through extra income and power for those communities. By making a small switch of choosing Fairtrade certified products and taking part in Fairtrade Fortnight, you can help protect our favourite foods.

- A crafternoon and movie night at the Global Lounge in honour of International Woman’s Day and empowering women in Fairtrade.
- A creative competition to produce artwork, music or writing in relation to Fairtrade for a chance to win a sustainable prize.
