Spectacular Annual Show: Our latest annual show wowed the crowd with incredible performances, showcasing the talent and dedication of our members.
Champion Dancers: Trent Dance proudly collected 19 trophies from various competitions we attended, including 1st and 2nd place at the Loughborough Dance Competition.
Varsity Triumph: Our fantastic dance performances at ice hockey, Futsal, and Basketball in Varsity events helped bring even more university pride to these intense matches.

Our timetable for training sessions last year are listed below to give you an idea of what this year could look like. This timetable is subject to change and will be confirmed on our instagram closer to the start of the year!
Monday (Clifton Studio - Clifton Sports Hub, Clifton Campus):
7 - 8:30 pm: Advanced Contemporary
8:30 - 10 pm Advanced Hip-Hop
Tuesday (Clifton Studio - Clifton Sports Hub, Clifton Campus):
8 - 9 pm: Advanced Jazz
9 - 10 pm: Commercial (2nd Year+)
Wednesday (Clifton Studio - Clifton Sports Hub, Clifton Campus)
1 - 2 pm: Open Class
2 - 3 pm: Intermediate Hip-Hop
3 - 4 pm: Tap
4 - 5 pm; Advanced Lyrical

Our Open Classes will vary in style and as a paying member of NTU Dance, you can attend as many Open Classes as you would like.
Our competitions for the 24/25 season are being finalised but generally, they will be in February & March!
Apart from classes, we have a range of socials, such as the infamous Ocean Wednesdays, Christmas meal and our annual awards night. Apart from this, we also offer a range of sober socials, such as pottery painting, ice skating and movie nights! Trent Dance allows everyone to make friends and have a good time.
£97.50 per year
We have an audition process in order to be able to join any of our competition teams, which goes as follows:
- Book on to the audition on the NTU Sport app
- Attend the audition and perform a short routine taught by the choreographer! You will be contacted by email, letting you know if you have made the team
- You can audition for as many or as few teams as you would like!

We run Taster sessions during Welcome Week at the start of each academic year. Keep an eye on our club social media for updates or email us for more information.

We don’t offer any specific Play for Fun sessions. However, anyone who wants to dance will be able to join as the club with no pressure to compete as we cater to all levels.
Each year we accept a number of athletes on scholarships across a range of sports. Each scholarship application is judged on a case-by-case basis, and we encourage athletes from all sports who are interested to take a look at the information on the Sport scholarships web page. We have a dedicated dance coach who coaches the advanced teams and some intermediate & open classes. We also have a range of student choreographers who are all dedicated and extremely talented that lead the rest of our classes!
