Pre-Masters courses

NTIC Entrance

Through our partner college, NTIC, we offer a preparation course for Masters (postgraduate) degrees at NTU.

The Pre-Masters courses is an extra year of study that allows international students who don’t yet have the required academic entry requirements to study a Masters at NTU.

  • Psychology
  • Social science and Humanities

As an NTIC student you’ll be studying on our City Campus. You'll be part of the University community with access to all the facilities, services and social events at NTU.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements for these courses are as follows:

  • At least 3 years of higher education and UKVI IELTS 5.5 (minimum of 5.0 in all skills).

If you do not meet the English language entry level but have at least UKVI IELTS 4.5 (minimum 4.0 in all skills) you can also do our Extended English and Skills (EES) course.

There are multiple start dates for these courses:

  • Spring (January – April)
  • Summer (May – August)
  • Autumn (September – November)

Your start date will depend on your academic and English levels, as well as your NTU degree start date.
