Hello, we're Saad Masood and Awais Younis and we're the NTU Country Advisor for Pakistan. We're delighted you’re considering studying with us and if you have any questions we’ll be happy to help. Saad is based in Islamabad and Awais is based in Nottingham, and both travel around Pakistan to meet students and their families.

What are the entry requirements for students from Pakistan?
The entry requirements for Bachelors and Masters degrees at NTU for student from Pakistan are listed below. Select your qualification from the list to see what you need to join a course at the University.

Foundation course at Nottingham Trent International College (NTIC).
Undergraduate study first year entry.
If you achieve 70%+ with relevant syllabus match you could join Undergraduate study second year entry.
If you achieve 50%+ with relevant syllabus match you could join Undergraduate study second year entry.
If you achieve 60%+ with relevant syllabus match you could be considered for undergraduate study final year entry / top up courses.
A 4-year Bachelors degree with a CGPA of 2.5 for courses that require a 2:2 entry, and CGPA 2.9 for courses that require a 2:1, would be considered for entry to our postgraduate courses. We will also consider a combination of Bachelors and Masters studied that totals 4 years.
Those who have studied a 4-year Bachelors at the following institutions would require an overall CGPA of 2.3 for a course requiring 2:2 entry and a CGPA 2.7 for a course requiring a 2:1:
- National University of Science and Technology (NUST)
- Quaid-I-Azam University
- Lahore University of Management Science (LUMS)
We would also accept a 50% overall from a 4-year Bachelors from the University of Punjab for courses that require a 2:2 equivalent degree, and 55% for courses that require a 2:1 equivalent degree.
To meet the University’s language requirements, you’ll need one of the following:
A full 4 year Bachelor degree accompanied by a ‘Medium of Instruction’ letter, from one of the following institutions may be considered as evidence of English on a case by case basis:
- Air University
- Bahria University: Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad Campuses
- Comsats University (previously known as Comsats Institute of Information Technology): Islamabad and Lahore Campuses
- FAST-NUCES
- Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)
- National College of Arts
- National University of Sciences And Technology (NUST) Islamabad
- Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design
- Quaid-i-Azam University
- UMT Lahore (University of Management and Technology): Lahore Campus
- University of Engineering and Technology Karachi (NED Karachi)
- University of Engineering and Technology: Lahore Campus
- University of Lahore
- University of the Punjab: Allama Iqbal Campus and Quaid-e-Azam Campus OR
You’ll need an IELTS qualification at the appropriate grade or an alternative English language qualification accepted by the University.
Students who do not meet the English language requirements may be required to take a pre-sessional English language (PEAP) course.
Scholarships
Do you have an offer to study with us? Why not apply for our exclusive Pakistan scholarship. If you're a postgraduate student you can apply for £5,000 towards your studies.
We also offer a variety of other scholarships ranging from £2,000 to 50% of your tuition fee. Once you submit an application form we’ll assess you for all scholarships you are eligible for.
British Council Scholarships
The GREAT Scholarship programme is a joint initiative by the British Council and the UK Government. We are delighted to offer one competitive scholarship of £10,000 to students from Pakistan. To be eligible you must:
- Have an offer to study one of our full-time Masters courses
- Be a national of Pakistan
