Our City Campus is typical of Nottingham itself. It’s a place that’s big enough to inspire and compact enough to provide a sense of community; one where our best and proudest traditions sit shoulder to shoulder with new theories, new practice and new possibilities. It’s the same mix of heritage and innovation that sums up the city we love.
Our City Campus has it all. Six of our academic schools are based here, as well as an innovative public art gallery, open-working office space for local businesses and the incredible NLS Legal. Our Newton building is a key feature in the city’s skyline, and from there you can walk to both the Market Square and the Victoria Centre, Nottingham’s main shopping hub, in less than five minutes.

Newton and Arkwright
The University has invested a massive £90 million in the regeneration of two Grade II* listed buildings, Newton and Arkwright, at the heart of the City Campus.
A bustling city-centre site
Located in the very heart of Nottingham city centre, our City Campus couldn’t be more conveniently located. From peaceful parks to booming nights, Nottingham’s streets always urge you to try something new.
A hub for the creative industries
We’re investing into the City Campus through our new Design and Digital Arts Building. This exciting building will provide dedicated spaces for Nottingham School of Art & Design's visual communication, moving image and digital screen disciplines.
