This event is designed for teachers and advisors to explore NTU's new state of the art Design and Digital Arts building, learn about our facilities and is also a networking opportunity.

Event details

We are excited to invite you for an exclusive look behind the scene at our brand-new Design and Digital Arts building. You will have a chance to explore the new spaces, studios and technologies before teaching starts in September.

We plan to :

  • give a demonstration of ICVFX (in-camera Visual Effects), a virtual technology technique we will be incorporating into our teaching as part of our new Virtual Production Studio.
  • give a demonstration of Green Screen Virtual Production.
  • give you the opportunity to try out our new Foley Studio, where you can play with sound effects and see an example in the control room.
  • open our doors to our Future Tech Suites which feature TouchDesigner (a visual development platform for real-time interactive content) and Projection Mapping (a projection technique used to project images onto 3D surfaces)

We will have our expert staff and current students present to discuss the spaces and available technology, and how you might be able to share this information with your pupils and colleagues.

All this will be followed by a great networking opportunity to connect with creatives from across NTU and other schools in the region over some refreshments.
