Want to improve your poetry skills?  Then come along to this free masterclass from Bad Betty editor Amy Acre, who will teach you how to turn your poems into sites of transformation.

You’ll look at poems that draw on wild creatures and inciting events to catalyse a change in the speaker, before having a go at applying this approach to your own work. Find out how to edit your work and really let the words fly!

Amy Acre is a poet and editor, born in London and living in Nottingham. Her debut collection, Mothersong (Bloomsbury, 2023) was shortlisted for the John Pollard Foundation International Poetry Prize, and was named a Book of the Year in The Telegraph, The Financial Times and California Review of Books.
