The Sustainability Community Lab (SCL) consists of a series of (blended in-person/online) workshops which feature transformative learning activities and peer networking to foster knowledge exchange between businesses.

This event is delivered by the Sustainability in Enterprise programme which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

For: Early career employees within Nottingham SMEs

Aim: To support participants to become a sustainability advocate, providing them with the knowledge and tools to improve sustainable practices within their enterprise.

Format: Five 2-hour online workshops, with a final 3-hour in-person session (delivered over six weeks)

Please note: This programme is exclusively for SMEs in the Greater Nottingham (SUDS) area.

Sustainability in business: broadening understanding and relevance of sustainability in an economical and business context, utilising tools available to assess business sustainability, applying critical thinking and analysis to business case studies, recognising opportunities to innovate and drive strategic change.

Sustainability advocacy: embedding sustainability into business culture, effectively advocating and framing issues around sustainability with key stakeholders, the use of social media and content creation.

Participants will need to attend all six sessions.
