Event details

This first EDI Matters competition is focussed on Race Equality and one other protected characteristic, it challenges students to create a poster on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion - and the future of their industry.

The panel will create a shortlist from student posters, who are invited to give a presentation at the EDI Matters: Race Equality event.

Students have the opportunity to win prizes ranging from £100 - £500, and to be recognised as ADBE EDI ambassadors.

The EDI Matters student competition is a new initiative, which values the inclusion of diverse student voices in the co-creation of their learning experience, which connects to the wider University commitment to SCALE-UP, Success for All and the University, reimagined strategy. This is led by Dr Anthony Ogbuokiri, ADBE Race Equality Champion, and Dr Rebecca Gamble, ADBE Athena Swan (Gender Equality) Champion. It is supported by the Deputy Dean, Professor Richard Bull, and internal and external panel members.
