The Academy of St Martin in the Fields Chamber Ensemble transform into a string sextet this spring, performing an hour-long programme of music by Brahms, Bach and Borodin. Tickets from just £5.

We're delighted to welcome principal players of the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, one of the world's finest chamber orchestras, to University Hall this spring.

Their string sextet (2 violins, 2 violas, 2 cellos) will be performing works by Romantic composers Johannes Brahms and Alexander Porfiryevich Borodin, and a movement of Johann Sebastian Bach's Baroque masterpiece Musikalisches Opfer (The Musical Offering), written for the King Frederick II of Prussia.

Doors: 6.30 pm
Performance: 7 pm
Age guidance: 7+, under 14s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18+
