Join NTU Physics for our Christmas Lecture.

We all know that Christmas day is December 25th but has it always been? A number of winter holiday dates, both secular and religious, reside in December, and we will be looking at their origins and why this happens from a space physics perspective. We will take a look at different types of calendars and the controversy of the tax year – all related to the position and rotation of the Earth in the solar system. This talk is open to all and you do not need to have any prior knowledge – there will also be no equations!

This event is open to the public, with seats available on a first-come, first-served basis.
