Qazi Awais Amin is a UK-based Financial Consultant, Internationally recognised researcher and Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) of Accounting and Finance at Nottingham Business School.

Before joining the Nottingham Business School, Qazi served as a Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University UK. He also served as a Lecturer at Coventry University UK and the University of East London UK.

In addition, Qazi served as a Senior Accountant in the industry for 3.5 years in a London-based Firm 'Marcantonio Ltd'. He served as an Internal Auditor for Ernst & Young as well.

Qazi has a PhD (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Salford UK, MBA (University of Plymouth UK), AAT (Premier Institute UK), Post graduation in Strategic Management (Nelson College London UK), MBE (University of the Punjab), MA in Economics (University of the Punjab), BCom (Hailey College University of the Punjab).

Qazi is supervising PhD students as a Director of Studies (Main supervisor) as well.

Qazi is the Module Leader of ‘Research Methods’ for master’s students and supervising master’s level ‘Business Research Projects’ and Consultancy Experience Projects at NTU.

He is teaching Research Methods, Financial Statement Analysis, Management in Organisations,  Employment and Enterprises, Governance Ethics and Law and Corporate Governance and Risk Management.
