After all, people who work for radio stations with a weekly audience of nearly eight million tend to be in demand. At best, we hoped for a polite response via email.

And then, out of the blue, Alice called.

“Hello NTU – lovely to hear from you! Listen, instead of talking on the phone, how about we record something at BBC Broadcasting House? I’ll grab a studio.”

Click on the above link to watch Alice tackle our questions. Find out what it's like to work at one of the UK's biggest radio stations – and what Alice remembers most about her time at NTU.

More about Alice Dale

An award-winning journalist, producer, presenter, and voice-over artist, Alice started her career by creating up behind-the-scenes interviews at music festivals. She also worked for Sony Music's 'Young Voices' scheme, reviewing new music before it hit the market. Her first job in radio was presenting the drive-time show at Meridian FM.
