Computer Science students become Microsoft certified

The Department of Computer Science at NTU has teamed up with Microsoft to pilot an online digital skills programme helping students to become the complete professional package.

    The digital skills programme is available from students’ first year through to graduation, helping students to gain the skills, insights and networks needed for success and is part of NTU’s strategy to become the most digitally sophisticated university by 2025.

    The Department of Computer Science at NTU and Microsoft Learn have recently agreed to provide free pathways for students to achieve a number of Microsoft professional industry-recognised certificates while doing their course at NTU. For the agreed courses, Microsoft will sponsor Azure cloud subscription, course materials and certification test fees for no costs.

    This term, for the first time, students studying BSc (Hons) Computer Science who take the Artificial Intelligence module in their final year, will participate in this program and will celebrate achieving the Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals certificate by the end of their studies at NTU. The program is designed as a blended learning experience, combining instructor-led training with online materials on the Microsoft Learn platform. Find out more about the course.
