Mohamed Azmi is an Hourly Paid Lecturer and PhD Candidate at Nottingham Law School, Nottingham Trent University. He contributes to teaching for undergraduate students within Nottingham Law School. Mohamed’s research focuses on partnership and LLP law, particularly the vulnerabilities and abuses of UK Limited Partnerships and Limited Liability Partnerships in facilitating economic crime. His work examines transparency, accountability and regulatory reform, including the implications of the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Act 2023. His broader interests include beneficial ownership transparency, corporate governance, and the misuse of legal structures in illicit finance.
He also contributes to teaching for undergraduate students within Nottingham Law School while pursuing his research under the supervision of Professor Elspeth Berry and Dr Julia Jennings.
