Helen leads the Curriculum Design workstream and is the Educational Development contact for Nottingham Law School and the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences.
Career overview
With over 15 years of experience in higher education and an additional 4 years in further education, Helen's career has focused on the enhancement of learning and teaching. As a Senior Lecturer and Course Leader on a PGCE Post 14 course, Helen supported students teaching diverse subjects in both further and higher education settings. Other roles in HE have included Collaborative Partnerships Manager which involved overseeing the delivery of higher education in various UK and international further education settings and managing an English Language Centre, concerned with developing courses for international students.
At NTU, Helen's primary interest lies in curriculum design, focusing on inclusivity and accessibility to meet all students' needs. Helen is excited about working with staff to evaluate and develop their curricula, ensuring it is effective and inclusive for every learner.
