What is the Solihull Approach?

The Solihull Approach supports understanding of emotional health, wellbeing and mental health. It can be used with families, individuals, groups, whole communities or wider populations, and applies from pre-conception through adolescence and across the lifespan. Used in many cultures and countries, it focuses on what helps or hinders our development and highlights the central role of relationships.

NTU in Mansfield

Our Mansfield University Hub is located on the same site as Vision West Nottinghamshire College, approximately 1.5 miles from the centre of Mansfield town. NTU in Mansfield represents our ambition to be a University of the future and a champion for the communities we serve.

Together with partners across Mansfield and Ashfield, we are committed to bringing opportunity and prosperity to the region. We’ve already invested £6.5 million in a wide range of specialist teaching and learning facilities that will support local people to upskill, retrain and access employment in high-demand areas, such as nursing, paramedicine, engineering, business, criminal justice, education, childhood and community support, and sport and exercise science.

Students and staff located at the Mansfield University Hub are within easy reach of a wide range of shops, restaurants, cafes and bars, as well as museums, cinemas, attractions and the countryside.
